Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain solar energy systems, including both roof-mounted and ground-mounted systems
- Conduct site assessments and measurements to determine the best location for solar panels and other equipment
- Create detailed engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications for solar energy systems
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including building and electrical codes
- Identify and troubleshoot issues with solar energy systems and make necessary repairs and modifications
- Coordinate with other team members, contractors, and clients to ensure efficient and timely completion of projects

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in solar engineering or a related field
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems and their design, installation, and maintenance
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other engineering design software
- Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations related to solar energy systems
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to travel to job sites within the region
